    The ministry of the altar society is to serve the altar as sacristan, ensuring that cloths and vessels are adequately prepared for use at Mass. The dedicated group see the necessity of keeping the church in order as they regard the building as the House of the Lord. They see their work as a contribution to the liturgy.

  • Altar Servers

    The primary role of the altar server is to assist the priest in the celebration of the liturgy during Mass.This is done through specific actions and by setting an example to the congregation by active participation in the liturgy (hymns, responses, etc.), by 'looking alert' and by sitting or standing at the appropriate times.

    Knights of Columbus are Catholic gentlemen committed to the exemplification of charity, unity, fraternity,patriotism, and defense of the priesthood. The Order is consecrated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Order is unequivocal in its loyalty to the Pope, the Vicar of Christ on earth.
